Site visit to review project

Every new interior design project begins with an initial no-obligation meeting, in order to fully understand the brief. At this meeting we discuss your needs, personal tastes and how they will work within the space, to get a clear view of their aims and expectations for the property. This information helps me tailor the interior design to create a totally unique finish that perfectly suits you.

Proposal

It is of the utmost importance to me that you feel comfortable and relaxed through the process, so it is vital that costs are clear from the outset and tailored to fit the client’s specific budget; which I will always work within.

Fees vary according to the room size and scope of the work, a detailed quote for which will be sent following the initial meeting. This covers the sourcing of furniture, fixtures and fittings, fabrics, wall-coverings, floor finishes and the provision of relevant samples for the client to review. It also covers floor plans and furniture layouts. CGIs and illustrations are quoted separately on request.

Design Development

As mentioned previously, interior designs are put together to fit the client’s budget. A design for each room is presented, showing colour scheme, furniture pieces, lighting specifications, floor finishes, fabric palettes and room layouts. Following the initial presentation, proposals are revised where necessary until you are completely happy.

Supply

Gita Interior Design sources and supplies fabrics, wallpapers, furniture, and all other relevant components for the scheme; as well as providing soft furnishing, upholstery and curtain-making service. I also design and manufacture beautiful bespoke rugs.

Gita Interior Design works closely with craftsmen and cabinet makers who design and create bespoke furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, dressing rooms and libraries to perfectly suit you and property.

Additionally, I work with artisan painters who take pride in creating a custom environment, tailor-made to the client’s vision. They can restore listed works, as well as painting every original wall with the mindset that they too will one day become listed artworks. A unique work of art exclusive to each client is very much part of creating timeless, historical works that will be enjoyed for generations. Even the boldest of designs follow traditional rules and methods.
